Definitely liked the cobweb holding up the sand idea, as well as the volcano and swimming in the lava. I also found it somewhat interesting that the world outside of it pretty much felt like it was ordinary Terraria for miles and miles (yeah, I'm that guy that goes the wrong way on purpose just to see whats there). One could "continue the story" for themselves, so to speak, by using their newfound equipment to build a base and launch a "counterattack" on the Devil (to get back at him for his sadistic challenges by raiding Hell and destroying everything! Tim also spawned for me, for the very first time, in this map.
The cage rooms felt a little... repeated though. They were a bit tall, though I suppose thats on purpose, but the way they were aligned felt as if it was the same pattern over and over. For this reason, the beginning felt a little dry. I enjoyed the rest of it though.
As a modification to the rules, I'd add in that a player cannot take equipment intended for other players. Giving 3 sets of potions unconditionally allows a single player to have a lot easier of a time through the dungeon than if they were to take just one set.
